Archaeology Museum

Week 1(6 to 9 yrs):
Discover Ontario's First Nations' histories and traditions, and how they contribute to the diversity of cultures in Canada.

(9 yrs +):
Discover the rich history of First Nations' in Canada. Examine artifacts, explore our gallery and experience being in a Neutral Iroquois Village.

Group Workshop (all ages):
Build an Inukshuk


Week 2(6 to 9 yrs):
Learn what archaeology can teach us about the lives of First Nations people and the early European settlers of what is now Ontario.

 (9 yrs +):
Much of what we know about early First Nations' cultures was recorded by French Jesuit Missionaries.
Workshops: Follow in their footsteps by making quill pens

Week 3 Life in a Longhouse (all ages together
This hands-on program will explore the everyday life of the 16th century Attawandaron who lived in the Lawson Village.
